What can you expect from this site? No-nonsense, practical encouragement that
works in today’s world. Honesty, compassion, a deep love for God and humanity,
combined with a somewhat “maverick” approach to religion and spirituality. I am
a philanthropist, a social entrepreneur, and a spiritual activist.
Every day I hear about so many good things that are happening in this world.
Millions of people dedicating their lives to helping the less fortunate. Stories
of young children who are already making a difference in their own creative ways
warm my heart. Many celebrities, together with everyday folk, donate large
percentages of their resources to charities and philanthropic work. Quite
simply, there is a lot of good in the world.
Yet there is still lots of work to do. And that is what this website, this
ministry is all about.
I believe that it is time to provide vehicles and opportunities for more people
to speak out and take positive action in their lives.
It is time to be empowered by spirituality!
Unfortunately, religion has played a huge part in the disempowering world we
have created. God has been blamed and involved in most of the wars, and
religious leaders have played a significant role in the division and hatred in
the world as they insist that they are “the only true religion”. This has
divided many families, brought war to entire countries, and now remains one of
the most tenacious obstacles to world peace.
We also have billions of people around the world depressed and frustrated as
they struggle to keep their head above water financially. How can we help them
when it seems so massive a problem?
And then we have millions of people that want to do something “good in the
world” but just don’t know what to do. They’re looking for their place, their
calling or passion, and that brings a degree of discontent and frustration also
as they feeling a yearning in their soul.
